Attributes are optional qualities of a part which may be formatted as check-boxes or custom lists. Attribute sets are groupings of multiple attributes. With attribute sets, you may generate parts based on different combinations of attributes. These are referred to as collections. For more information regarding the collection part type, continue [[Parts#Part_Types|here]].

:Attribute sets may be sorted on Name by clicking the filter heading. You may filter for attribute sets that match specific criteria by typing a value in the text field or selecting an option from the drop-down list. Clicking the Clear Filters button will clear your search. Any filters that are applied in list view will carry over to the List Navigator in the detail view.

==Attribute Set Profile Page==
The attribute set name will be the title of the page. Here, you will find the attribute name, field type, and any associated collections.

*You may use the navigation arrows next to each attribute to sort the order in which they appear.

*The attribute type will be displayed here. If the attribute is a listbox, the associated custom list will be hyperlinked for quick access.

==Create Attribute Set==
#Click New Attribute Set in the upper left corner of the Attribute Sets module.
#Enter the name of the attribute set.

#*If you would like to create multiple attribute sets at once, click Save And New to be redirected to a fresh create screen.
#In the Attribute field, enter the name of the attribute you would like to add to the attribute set.
#Select the input type:
#*Checkbox -  This indicates whether or not the attribute is applicable to the item.

==Create New Collection==

#Enter the name of the part.
#Enter a part number if desired. Otherwise a randomly generated part number will be created based on your [[Settings#Part|part settings]].
#Enter a sale price.

==Clone Attribute Set==
#Attribute Sets may be cloned to quickly make various iterations of the set.
#Navigate to the attribute set profile page.
#Click the Actions menu and select Clone Attribute Set.
#Enter a new name for the attribute set.
#*If a name is not entered, LOCATE will automatically append and incremented suffix such as "_2".
#Click Clone.

==Delete Attribute Set==
Attribute Sets may be deleted from the list view under the Quick Actions Menu, or:
#Navigate to the Attribute Set you would like to delete.
#Click Actions, and select Delete Sales Order.
#When prompted, click Yes.
Sales orders that have been issued may not be deleted.
