Trash Can Restore

The Trash Can feature allows users to view and restore archived records in LOCATE.

This feature is marked by a small trash can icon in the upper right corner of the list view of certain modules in LOCATE. This is currently available for attribute sets, bill of materials, carriers, custom fields, custom lists, customers, cycle counts, email accounts, field mapping, groups, payment methods, payment terms, printers, purchase orders, queries, quotes, return orders, return reasons, sales orders, salespeople, services, shipping terms, sites, transfer orders, UOMs, use cases, use orders, users, vendors, and work orders.

List View

Archived records in the trash can may be sorted on various metrics (varies by module) by clicking the filter heading. You may filter for arched records that match specific criteria by typing a value in the text field or selecting an option from the drop-down list. Clicking the Clear Filters button will clear your search.

The checkbox in the upper left corner allows you to select all records on the current page.

Restore Archived Record

  1. Navigate to the list view of the module in which you'd like to restore a record.
  2. Click the trash can icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Use the column headers and filters to find the record you'd like to restore.
  4. Select the appropriate record(s) by clicking the checkboxes.
  5. When ready, click Restore.

If you only select to restore one record, it will take you to the profile page of that record (for example: the sales order detail view). If you select multiple records you will remain in the Trash Can list view.
