Print By Location

Some print events in LOCATE may be sent to specific printers based on the location settings. If the location of the event (ie the pack location) matches the location set on the printer, the report will print from that printer. For more information about setting up warehouse locations, continue here.

The following print events now have the ability to print by location:

  • packwascreated
  • packwasfinished
  • shipwasfinished
  • receiptwasfinished

To setup location specific printing, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Setup menu and select Printers.
  2. Navigate to the profile page of the printer you would like to associate to a location.
  3. Click Edit Details.
  4. In the Location field, select the appropriate location.
  5. Ensure that the printer's Active status is "Yes".
