LOCATE provides a detailed audit trail which allows users to reference historical events made to a specific object. Audit events indicate who made a change to an object, what change was made, when it took place and why. Audit events cannot be deleted.

Filters

Audit events may be sorted on Who, What, When, and Why by clicking the filter heading. You may filter for order events that match specific criteria by typing a value in the text field or selecting an option from the drop-down list. Clicking the Clear Filters button will clear your search.

Find the Audit

The Audit is found on the detail view or profile page of a specific record within the Actions menu in the module navigation bar. Note that only certain modules support auditing. For example, the Ledger Module does not have an Audit as users may not directly make changes. However, the Services Module does support auditing, which allows you to view changes made to the accounting service which may have impacted the Ledger Module.

Add Event Reason

Users may add a reason or a "why" to an Audit event.

  1. Navigate to a specific record.
  2. Open the Actions menu and select Audit.
  3. Use the column filters or sorting to find the specific event you would like to add a reason to.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Complete the "Why" field and click Save.
